The Full Time Equine Veterinary Technician position is a hospital based position.
The EVT is a skilled, Veterinary Technician, with a background in equine medical knowledge and experience handling horses.
Under the supervision of a DVM, the EVT will assist in the diagnosis and treatment of urgent and routine equine medical events at the clinic, care for hospitalized patients, process laboratory testing, and assist with facility maintenance as needed.

Excellent horse handling skills with a minimum of 5 years experience working in a barn (including loading onto trailers) are required A team player, you enjoy a fast-paced environment and can think critically on your feet You possess the ability to remain composed in stressful and emotional situations Excellent verbal and written communication skills Motivated, dependable individual with a strong work ethic and a love for horses Proficiency with computers, tablets, and cloud base data recording systems Must be able to lift 50lbs Must possess a valid MA driver's license and dependable transportation Anticipated Schedule:
The first 90 days will have a varied schedule for training purposes, then the work schedule will be Monday 11AM-6PM, Tuesday 1PM-6PM, Wednesday 2PM-8PM, Thursday 1PM-6PM, Friday 2PM-8PM, Saturday 7:
30AM-1PM with a shared rotation of weekends on-call (Schedule is subject to change with hospital needs) Compensation &
